Lilli Grace

Lilli Grace Memorial Foundation

First, let me thank you for your time, and as we learn through life experiences, time is a priceless commodity.

Time is not only a priceless commodity, but also a precious gift. It becomes more precious if you, or someone you know, is suffering from a life threatening illness, succumbed to its effects, or is unexpectedly lost to tragedy. The value of time is tragically realized when you only have 18 months to spend with a child you tried so hard to conceive.

Lillian Grace Register was that child. “Lilli Grace” was born a short time ago through the miracle of technology that allowed her father, who fought two previous episodes with cancer (Hodgkins Disease Lymphoma), to actually conceive a child with his wife. Only then to have her life cut short. After a short 18 months, our little girl Lilli Grace died.  And that is when I truly began to understand tragedy first hand. And that is something I wish I never had to endure, and I hope that you will never have to endure it either. Lilli Grace was the epitome of the word “GRACE.” In most of her pictures, if not all, she had a joyful smile. A smile that would light up the place, a smile that said life is good. Lilli Grace was known for a few things—Dancing to just about anything, but “Splish-Splash” was her favorite, and Laughing at anything, especially her best pal and family dog “Nali”.  She was getting her ABC’s down, and she would gladly tell you what a dog, cat, cow, pig, monkey, horse and lion say. We miss Lilli Grace, and you would too if you had known her. The times we had with her were so joyful and we are so thankful for the time, however brief.

Lilli Grace was and always will be a special child. We hope our story can bring you some joy for your life and some thankfulness for your treasured memories. We are asking for your help in continuing Lilli Grace’s legacy. That legacy is to encourage everyone to have grace and give grace to others. You see, no matter how good life is, Grace is Greater!

The “Grace is Greater” idea reflects the notion that tragedy and triumph alike are sometimes out of our hands, and all we can do is take those experiences and make positive changes to our world. We would like to introduce you to the Lilli Grace Memorial Foundation which will begin serving as a focal point of various charitable organizations. This year your support will help with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Team in Training, as well as the 2-Day Breast Cancer Walk, and the Lilli Grace Memorial Foundation. With your help, we hope to become one of the nations leading supporters of cancer awareness, as well as promoting child safety.

Thanking you in advance,

Paul W. Register
